Professional development

1975 Degree of studies at the Technical University Ilmenau in the field “Biomedical Technique and Bionics”.

1980 Doctorate in "Computer-aided detection of visually evoked potentials in the electro perimetry".

1980-1989 Head of the Department of Biomedical Technique at the Medical Academy Magdeburg. Construction of a department of scientific device building for the medicine.

1986 Degree of postgraduate studies as "Engineering Specialist in Medicine". Beginning of the development of the system RehaCom for computer-aided cognitive rehabilitation, together with Prof. Hans Regel (deceased 1998) and Dr. Andreas Krause.

1989 - 1993 Restructuring and development of an efficient medical service centre and a medical computing centre. Head of both departments. Experiences in clinical information systems, data bases and networked systems in the medicine. 1991 Together with Prof. Hans Regel and Dr. Andreas Krause, awarding of the Karl- Bonhoeffer- prize of the Society for Psychiatry and Neurology for the development of systems for computer-aided psychodiagostics

1991 Together with Dr. Volker Hömberg and Prof. Hans Regel, founding of the “Association for Neurological and Neuropsychological Rehablitation - Saxony- Anhalt” and development of the “Neurological Therapy Centre Magdeburg”. Permanent member of the board of this association up to its disbanding connected with the giving- over of the business to the Neurological Therapy Centre Magdeburg.

Since 1997 Managing director of the HASOMED GmbH (Ltd, Inc). Expansion of the business fields onto neurological rehabilitation, experimental systems, neuropsychological diagnostics, biological signal analysis (among others EEG), administration of psychological practices, medical data bases. Co-operation at research projects among other things in the neurological and neuropsychological research of medical co-operation partners.

Since 1975 approx. 120 scientific publications and lectures as author and co-author.
