RehaCom - brain performance training RehaCom is a system of procedures for the training of brain perfomances. It helps patients and affected people with improving such important skills as memory, attention, concentration, logical thinking, planning actions etc. After successful training, the patient can master the problems and requirements of everyday life better again.

Brain performance training with RehaCom In the brain performance training you - patient or affected person - work with RehaCom with a regular computer (executable for Windows 2000/XP/Vista/Windows7). Over the screen and the loudspeakers the system makes special tasks available to you. You enter your solution via the RehaCom board or the regular keyboard into the computer. Processes in the brain are activated by the solution of these scientifically compiled tasks. They improve the memory and other important brain functions. After successful training you can master the problems of everyday life better again.   RehaCom is not a computer game but a scientifically compiled system of procedures for the training of brain functions!   Please click on the pictures to see them enlarged.

The operation of RehaCom is easy to learn. Motor or seriously cognitively handicapped people can use the RehaCom board - a special keyboard with simple, large and clear keys. Alternatively you can work with a regular computer keyboard.

All training procedures automatically adapt in their difficulty to the achievement possibilities of the training person. Thus the training remains always interesting and you will never find yourself being expected too much or too little. Tasks which are very realistic and close to everyday life and a varied training will motivate you to work with RehaCom. All training data are stored and permit exact analyses for the further training strategy.

RehaCom was originally developed for patients who had a stroke, a craniocerebral injury (e.g. after an accident) or brain tumor surgeries. However, for many years it has been used also for treatment of general brain performance disturbances. That includes older people who suffer e.g. from problems with their memory or a general lack of concentration. Ask your therapist whether RehaCom can help you, too.

RehaCom used to be available to patients and affected people in neurological rehabilitation hospitals and practices only. Since November 2001 you can train with RehaCom also at home! Load the software down from the internet to your computer or order a free CD from us. One training unit costs only 1.65€! A training unit means you can work with the RehaCom procedures up to one hour. Order training units from us! Only if you decide to use units for internet using, your PC needs to have a connection to the internet: When you start training, the RehaCom system will download these training units automatically from us over the internet.

However, also if you have no home connection to the internet you can work with RehaCom. In this case you will get a hardware protection module, a so-called dongle, which will be attached to your PC.

RehaCom has been developed since 1986 by coworkers of Hasomed GmbH (Inc, Ltd) in Magdeburg/ Germany, in cooperation with experienced neuropsychologists. At present there are available 30 training procedures for RehaCom. The procedures were tested in extensive clinical studies for their effectiveness and they are constantly extended for the latest technologies. All procedures are based on the basic concept by Professor Hans Regel and they are theoretically funded. RehaCom is market leader for computer-assisted cognitive rehabilitation (brain performance training) in Europe and is currently available in 15 languages.
